Santa's Comment to the Crisis, "Everything will be Alright!"
Throughout the labor turmoil, Mrs. Claus has been the lead negotiator for Management. Her focus has been an attempt to balance the overall well-being of her Christmas Staff, and their pursuit of happiness. "I am afraid that the elvish union leadership has its members down a path of hedonism. Thier demands for satisfaction, out-weigh their sense of well-being." Stated Mrs. Clause. "It has always been the responsibility of the Clause Family to provide all that the elvish community have required to attain healthy fulfilling lives. Thier most recent demands for an increase of 10% cookie intake is outside the realm of need, and the medical community of the North Pole Alliance warns that this will only serve to diminish the health of the elves. When asked to comment about Mrs. Claus' inability to maintain the negotiations, Santa simply said, "I have complete faith in Mrs. Claus as a negotiator, a leader, and a friend to the Elvish community. I also have profound faith in the "Spirit of Christmas" and I know that cooler heads will prevail, and the love and admiration that serves this community will soon return. In other words, everything will be fine." So, as the production schedule continues to fall further behind, as the goals of Santa's Workshop fall one after another, should the world be worried that Christmas could be cancelled. This sentiment is already being felt throughout the globe. Children are becoming fearful, frustrated, and often angry at what is transpiring in the North Pole. Could the sentiments of hedonism, selfishness, and intolerance be overcome by the love, joy, and comradery that is Christmas? I pray so, and I have confidence that Santa truly knows, that everything will be fine.
